Mac And Cheese With Sausage Topping
Ingredients
- 2 c. or possibly 8 ounce. elbow macaroni
- 1 pound pork sausage
- 1 lg. onion, minced
- 1 green pepper, minced
- 2 tbsp. flour
- 2 c. lowfat milk
- About 3/4 pound cheese
Directions
- Cook macaroni. Brown sausage. Add in onion and green pepper. Cook about 10 min. Stir in flour and cook 1 minute. Add in lowfat milk and cook till bubbly and thick. Layer mac and cheese in LARGE casserole. Top with sausage mix. Bake at 350 for 30 min.
