Low Sugar Bran Muffins
Ingredients
- 1 1/4 c. flour
- 1 T baking pwdr
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 T sugar
- 2 1/2 c. Bran Flakes cereal
- 1 1/4 c. lowfat milk
- 1 egg
- 2 T vegetable oil
- Pumpkin pie spice & cinnamon
Directions
- Stir flour, baking pwdr, salt and sugar together and set aside. Mix Bran Flakes and lowfat milk together and stir to mix, let stand 2-4 min. Add in egg and oil; beat well. Add in flour mix and stir till combined. Pour into muffin pan. Makes 12. Bake at 400 degrees for 30 min or possibly till done.(I have used a no sugar Bran Flake cereal and also have cut up apples or possibly used mashed bananas, all were good and freeze well and can be microwaved from freezer.)
