    Litti Chokha is traditional dish of Bihar.One can say it is a must made dish of Bihar for any special ocassion,party or festival..hope you guys will love it too :))

    Ingredients

    • For Dough:
    • 2 cup wheat flour
    • 1/2 teaspoon onion seeds
    • 1/2 teaspoon carom seeds
    • 4 tablespoon yogurt
    • 1/2 cup water (luke warm)
    • salt to taste
    • For Filling:
    • 1 cup sattu ( gram flour made by fried gram)
    • 5-6 cloves garlic( chopped )
    • 1 tablespoon ginger( chopped )
    • 3-4 green chilies ( chopped ) or to taste
    • 1/4 cup coriander leaves ( chopped )
    • 1 teaspoon carom seeds
    • 1 teaspoon onion seeds
    • 2-3 teaspoon lemon juice
    • 2 tablespoon pickle masala
    • 2 tablespoon pickle oil or mustard oil or any veg oil
    • salt to taste
    • For Baking:
    • cooking oil spray
    • For Serving
    • Chokha

    Directions

    1. For Dough:
    2. In a large bowl,add flour and yogurt,mix lightly with finger tips and with water knead it into stiff dough. Make balls out of dough and keep aside.
    3. For Filling:
    4. Mix all ingredients of filling,in a large bowl.Keep aside.
    5. Flatten the dough ball,in your palm and spoon the filling in the center of each balls and close it from all sides,like kachori,take care that no cracks are there .
    6. Apply oil on litti with brush,and place on baking tray;which is lined with a foil paper.
    7. In a preheated oven,bake litti from both side @ 180 degrees C for 30-40 min or till done.
    8. NOTE:
    9. Vegan can avoid yogurt in dough,but then add 2 teaspoon of oil or 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder for softness.
    10. Avoid heat or adjust according to kids choice,otherwise this one is,very spicy dish.
