I love black & white, in clothing, chess game and food as well. My created recipe has black & white jellies cut into squares that's why I named it chess jellies. Remember to make jellies according to package direction. I used to make jellies with the ratio 1:1 (water : gelatin powder). Ingredients

  • 2 cups very hot water
  • 2 tablespoons gelatin powder
  • 1 teaspoon instant coffee powder
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon buko juice powder (young coconut juice powder)
  • or coconut powder
  • 1 cup cream
  • 1/2 cup condensed milk
  • 1 tablespoon buko juice powder (young coconut juice powder)
  • or coconut powder

Directions

  1. Dissolve gelatin powder in hot water. Mix well.
  2. Divide the gelatin mixture into 2 (cups 1 & 2)
  3. Add instant coffee & sugar to cup 1. Stir.
  4. Add buko juice or coconut powder to cup 2. Stir.
  5. Pour each mixture on a plate. Refrigerate to set.
  6. Meanwhile mix cream, condensed milk & coconut powder.
  7. Cut gelatin into squares.
  8. Add to cream-milk sauce.
  9. Refrigerate. Serve cold.
