I love to dip my focaccia bread in this sauce. Try this on fish, like Halibut, grill with butter and splash on Magic. I love this on sliced Baguette bread, spread herbed brie, 1 Tbls of Magic sauce put under broiler about a minute. Add basil leaf for looks, or small Anchovie and last black olives. When I'm not cooking I am creating Iron Art for my e store, www.SantaFeWroughtIron.Etsy.com, this is one of the my gift recipes I give away for folks shopping at my store.

    Ingredients

    • 1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil
    • 1 tsp fresh Rosemary out of my garden
    • 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves out of my garden
    • 1 tsp fresh orergano leaves
    • 2 tsp sweet paprika
    • 1 crumbled bay leaf
    • pinch of red pepper flakes
    • 1/4 tsp sea salt
    • 1 Tbls fresh lemon juice off one of my trees

    Directions

    1. Warm the olive oil on medium to low heat in a skillet. When hot remove from heat.
    2. While the oil is heating, lightly pound the rosemary, thyme and oregano with a mortar and pestle.
    3. Stir in the paprika, garlic, bay leaf, red pepper flakes, and salt into the oil. Then add the bruised herbs and lemon juice.
    4. Know the oil just gets better as it ages over a few days. Keep in the refrigerator for up to a week to ten days max. It thickens when cold, so if you need it in a liquid state, place it in the sun or warm up for a couple minutes.
