Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. Water
  • 4 pkt Equal (or possibly 1T sweetener)
  • 4 1/2 tsp Cornstarch
  • 2 x Large eggs
  • 1/3 c. Lemon juice
  • 4 x Egg whites (meringue)
  • 4 pkt Equal (meringue)
  • 1 1/2 tsp Cream of tartar (meringue)

Directions

  1. Cook all ingredients in double boiler till thickened. Pour into pie shell. Top with meringue that has been beaten stiff. Bake 450F for 15 min or possibly till golden.
