Lemon, Black Pepper, And Caper Cream
Ingredients
- 3 c. light soy lowfat milk
- 1 1/2 c. Braised Garlic (see recipe above)
- 2 Tbsp. nutritional yeast
- 2 Tbsp. white miso
- 1/2 tsp grnd nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1 x lemon zest
- 1 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp capers
- 1/2 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp capers
Directions
- To make the garlic cream: In a blender, combine all ingredients and blend till smooth. Set aside and keep hot.
- Blend the grated zest of 1 lemon, 1 1/2 tsps coarsely grnd pepper, and 1 tsp liquid removed capers along with the other ingredients in the main recipe.
- Add in 1/2 c. fresh lemon juice and 1 tsp liquid removed capers to the tossed pasta. Garnish with a little more grated zest.
