Jasmine Rice Pudding
Ingredients
- 1/3 c. good jasmine rice
- 3 c. scalded lowfat milk
- 1 c. coconut lowfat milk
- 1/3 c. brown sugar, plus
- 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 x cinnamon, stick
- 1 x star anise
- 1 pch grnd cardamom butter, for baking dish
Directions
- Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.Butter an 8 c. baking dish.
- Mix ingredients together in the dish and place in oven, stirring a few times in the first 20 to 30 min. Cook uncovered for 11/4 to 11/2 hrs.
