  • Italian Style Green Beans

    Ingredients

    • 1 lb Fresh Green Beans, Rinsed And Stem-End Removed
    • 2 Tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil
    • 2 Tbsp. Butter, Melted
    • 1/2 tsp Salt
    • 1/4 tsp Grnd Black Pepper Freshly Shredded Parmesan Cheese

    Directions

    1. Place about 1 inch of water in a 10-inch skillet; bring to boil over high heat. Add in green beans; cook for 7 minutess or possibly till crisp-tender. Drain; toss green beans with extra virgin olive oil, butter, salt, and pepper. Cook over low heat for 2 min. Place on serving plat; top with parmesan.
    2. NOTES : The simplicity of crisp, tender green beans becomes a real delight when you top them with freshly grated parmesan cheese. Make Ahead Tip: Cook green beans in advance; when tender, immediately rinse with cool water to stop cooking. To serve, heat extra virgin olive oil and butter mix in skillet. Toss with cooked beans till heated through.
