    Ingredients

    • 4 x boneless skinless chicken breast halves in 1
    • 1/2 x " pcs
    • 1 x 19 oz can cannellini beans liquid removed/rinsed
    • 1 x 15 1/2 ounce. c kidney beans liquid removed/rinsed (15 1/2 to 15)
    • 1 x 14 1/2 oz diced tomatoes undrained
    • 1 c. minced celery
    • 1 c. sliced carrot (2 medium)
    • 2 sm garlic cloves coarsely minced
    • 1 c. water
    • 1/2 c. dry red wine
    • 3 Tbsp. tomato paste
    • 1 Tbsp. sugar
    • 1 1/2 tsp dry Italian seasoning

    Directions

    1. In 3 1/2-4 qt crockpot, combine chicken, beans, tomatoes, celery, carrots and garlic; mix well.
    2. In medium bowl combine all other ingredients; mix well. Pour over chicken and vegetables; mix well.
    3. Cover; cook on Low setting for 8-10 hrs or possibly on High settingfor 5-6 hrs or possibly till vegetables are tender.
    4. Makes 4 ( 1 3/4 c.) servings.
    5. Prep Time: 20 min, Ready in 10 hrs and 20 min.
    6. Serving Ideas : Delicious served with whole wheat rolls or possibly French bread.
    7. NOTES : Get a headstart on this slow cooker meal by cutting the chicken, preparing the vegetabes and mixing the suace the night before. Place in separate bowl, cover with plastic wrap and chill.
