Great treat for family and friends. Can be served over wheat pasta for a very nutrional meal.

    Ingredients

    • 1 lb. Sirloin deersteak
    • 2 Tbsp. Butter,
    • divided 5 oz. canned mushroom pieces,
    • drained ½ cup chopped onion
    • ¾ cup chili sauce
    • 1 Tbsp. All-purpose flour
    • ¼ cup cold water
    • 5 oz. Frozen cut green beans,
    • cooked and drained 4 oz. (about 1 ½ cups) egg noodles, cooked and drained

    Directions

    1. Heat 1 Tbsp. of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add mushrooms and onion, sauté until tender, about 2 minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon. Add remaining butter to skillet. Add steak. Sauté for 4 minutes or until browned on all sides. Add chili sauce. Simmer, covered, for 5 minutes or until tender. Blend flour with cold water. Stir into skillet. Cook, stirring continually, until mixture comes to a boil, about 3 minutes.
    2. Reduce heat; return mushrooms and onion to skillet. Add green beans to skillet, mix well. Heat to serving temperature, do not boil.
    3. Serve over hot buttered noodles. Serves 2-3, can be doubled.
