    Ingredients

    • 1/4 lb sausage
    • 1 x butter or possibly margarine as needed
    • 3 Tbsp. flour
    • 1 1/2 c. lowfat milk
    • 1/4 tsp sausage seasoning, optional
    • 1 x salt and pepper, to taste
    • 1 x bisquits or possibly toast

    Directions

    1. Crumble sausage in a skillet; cook till sausage is browned but not hard and dry. If the sausage did not produce 3 Tbsp. of drippings, add in butter or possibly margarine so you will have sufficient drippings to make gravy. Sprinkle flour over sausage and drippings; cook and stir till mix turns light brown. Add in lowfat milk and continue to cook, stirring constantly till gravy thickens. (If the gravy is too thick, add in a small amount of lowfat milk and stir to blend. If the gravy is too thin, continue to cook till it reaches the desired consistency. Be sure to stir constantly so the gravy won't become lumpy.) Stir in sausage seasoning, salt and pepper. Serve over warm bisquits or possibly toast.
