Here's a great Summer spritzer. You can use your favorite tea in this. I like to use green tea with lemongrass, along with substituting lemon-lime soda for the carbonated water. If your allergy prone, I suggest using local honey. One of the many benefits honey provides is boosting your allergy resistance. Local is best because pollen counts vary by region and store bought is from a farm that may/may not be from your area.

    Ingredients

    • Concentrate:
    • 4 Each Tea Bags
    • 1 Cup Boiling Water
    • 1/2 Cup Local Honey
    • 1/4 Cup Packed Mint Leaves, Crushed
    • 1 Cup Orange Juice
    • 3/4 Cup Pineapple Juice
    • 1/4 Cup Fresh Lime Juice
    • Mixer:
    • 1 1/2 Quarts Carbonated Water
    • Ice Cubes
    • Garnish:
    • Mint Leaves, Lime Slices, Orange Slices and/or Pineapple Wedges

    Directions

    1. Steep tea bags in boiling water 10 minutes. Remove tea bags. Add honey and mint; mix well. Add fruit juices and refrigerate until ready to use.
    2. Fill a 12-ounce glass with ice cubes. Add 1/2 cup fruit juice mixture and fill glass with 1/2 cup carbonated water.
    3. Garnish with your choice of the above.
