Holiday Breakfast Ham & Cheese Souffle
Ingredients
- 16 slices white sandwich bread (remove crusts & cut into cubes)
- 1 pound cubed ham
- 1 pound sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
- 1 1/2 c. Swiss cheese, cut in sm. pcs
- 6 Large eggs
- 3 c. lowfat milk
- 1 tbsp. chopped onion
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
- 3 c. crushed cornflakes
- 1/2 c. butter, melted
Directions
- Grease 9 x 13 inch glass baking dish. Spread half the bread cubes proportionately in dish. Add in ham and both cheeses, then cover with remaining bread cubes. Mix Large eggs, lowfat milk, onion and mustard. Pour proportionately over bread cubes and then bake or possibly may be refrigerated overnight. Combine cornflakes and butter for a topping. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 min.
