Healthier Chocolate Chip Cookies
This chocolate chip cookie recipe has more fiber and less fat then most recipes with just as much taste. Ingredients
- 11/4 cup Whole wheat flour
- 1 cup All purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup margarine (light)
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/12 cup semi sweet chips
- 1/2 cups chopped nuts(optional)
Directions
- In one bowl mix flours, soda, and salt together.
- In another bowl cream sugars and margarine together.
- Add vanilla to second bowl then eggs until smooth and creamy.
- Mix flour mixture to margarine mixture until flour mixture is mixed well into margarine mixture.
- Add chips then nuts(optional)
- Spoon out teaspoons of mixture on oil sprayed baking sheet 2 inches apart. Bake at 375 for 10 minutes in oven. Take out of oven With spatula take off of cookie sheet and place on plate to cool for a few minutes then eat.
