• Healthier Chocolate Chip Cookies

    This chocolate chip cookie recipe has more fiber and less fat then most recipes with just as much taste.


    • 11/4 cup Whole wheat flour
    • 1 cup All purpose flour
    • 1 tsp baking soda
    • 3/4 tsp salt
    • 3/4 cup brown sugar
    • 3/4 cup white sugar
    • 1/2 cup margarine (light)
    • 1 tsp vanilla
    • 2 eggs
    • 1 1/12 cup semi sweet chips
    • 1/2 cups chopped nuts(optional)


    1. In one bowl mix flours, soda, and salt together.
    2. In another bowl cream sugars and margarine together.
    3. Add vanilla to second bowl then eggs until smooth and creamy.
    4. Mix flour mixture to margarine mixture until flour mixture is mixed well into margarine mixture.
    5. Add chips then nuts(optional)
    6. Spoon out teaspoons of mixture on oil sprayed baking sheet 2 inches apart. Bake at 375 for 10 minutes in oven. Take out of oven With spatula take off of cookie sheet and place on plate to cool for a few minutes then eat.
