    Handpicked Blackberry and Peach Pie

    I found blackberries in my backyard growing in jungle :) :) Felt like so lucky to have a great fruit growing in my backyard and I can have it for free of cost. !! So Thought of making blackberry pie and for a change added a peach in it. :) Amazingly Delicious and yummy.!!!

    Ingredients

    • 1 Packet of frozen berries ( 16 oz or more fresh berries )
    • 2 small ripe peaches chopped around size of berries
    • 1 cup all-purpose flour
    • 1 cup sugar
    • 1/2 + 2 Table spoon sugar
    • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder (optional)
    • 2 eggs
    • 1 unsalted butter stick

    Directions

    1. Preheat the oven at 325 F
    2. Oil the pie pan
    3. Add berries and chopped peach in it
    4. Pour in 1/2 cup and 2 table spoon of sugar in it and cinnamon powder in it
    5. Roll the fruits well and coat the sugar
    6. Let it sit for a while to make berries soften a little
    7. While berries soften-
    8. Take a mixing bowl and Blend the Butter and 1 cup of sugar very well
    9. Add one egg at a time
    10. And blend well
    11. Add flour little by little and blend the mixture well
    12. Pour the mixture over the berries and spread it everywhere. You should not be able to see the berries on the top.
    13. Put the pan in the oven and bake it for 1 hour or until the crust is golden brown on the top.
    14. Enjoy the pie with fresh whipped cream. :)
