Ham And Broccoli Bake
Ingredients
- 1 pkt frzn minced broccoli - (10 ounce)
- 12 slc white bread crusts removed
- 1 c. shredded cheddar cheese - (4 ounce)
- 2 c. diced turkey ham
- 2 Tbsp. finely-minced onion
- 6 x Large eggs slightly beaten
- 3 1/2 c. lowfat milk
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp dry mustard
Directions
- Grease 9- by 13-inch metal pan. Partially cook broccoli; drain well on paper towels. Cut off crusts and cube bread, spread in pan. Layer ham, then broccoli. Sprinkle onion then cheese.
- In large bowl, combine beaten Large eggs, lowfat milk, salt and mustard. Pour over bread. Cover, chill 6 hrs or possibly overnight.
- Heat oven to 325 degrees. Bake uncovered for 1 1/4 hrs till inserted knife comes out clean. Let stand 10 min before serving.
- This recipe yields 8 to 12 servings.
