  • Ham And Broccoli Bake

    Ingredients

    • 1 pkt frzn minced broccoli - (10 ounce)
    • 12 slc white bread crusts removed
    • 1 c. shredded cheddar cheese - (4 ounce)
    • 2 c. diced turkey ham
    • 2 Tbsp. finely-minced onion
    • 6 x Large eggs slightly beaten
    • 3 1/2 c. lowfat milk
    • 1/2 tsp salt
    • 1/2 tsp dry mustard

    Directions

    1. Grease 9- by 13-inch metal pan. Partially cook broccoli; drain well on paper towels. Cut off crusts and cube bread, spread in pan. Layer ham, then broccoli. Sprinkle onion then cheese.
    2. In large bowl, combine beaten Large eggs, lowfat milk, salt and mustard. Pour over bread. Cover, chill 6 hrs or possibly overnight.
    3. Heat oven to 325 degrees. Bake uncovered for 1 1/4 hrs till inserted knife comes out clean. Let stand 10 min before serving.
    4. This recipe yields 8 to 12 servings.
