  • Habanero Citrus Shrimp

    Ingredients

    • 3 lb Large Tiger shrimp, shelled and deveined
    • 4 ounce Tequilla
    • 4 lrg Limes, juice only
    • 1 bn Fresh cilantro*, cleaned and minced
    • 1 ounce Extra virgin olive oil
    • 2 x Oranges or possibly tangerines, zest only
    • 2 x Dry habaneros, crushed
    • 1 Tbsp. Brown sugar Citrus fruit pcs, for skewer Garlic cloves, for skewer Onion pcs, for skewer

    Directions

    1. 1. Combine all ingredients in a non metalic bowl except shrimp - mix well.
    2. 2. Marinate shrimp for 1 hour (not longer of they willbecome mushy.
    3. 3. After marinating the shrimp, skewer with onions and cloves of garlic,chunks of oranges, limes and other citrus fruits as desired..
    4. 4. Barbeque quickly on warm grill till shrimp turn pink and curl slightly.
    5. Notes:* If you dislike cilantro, use parsely instead.
