Ground Beef With Hoisin And Ginger
Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. Orange juice
- 1 Tbsp. Cornstarch
- 1 lb Lean grnd beef (or possibly any other grnd meat)
- 1 Tbsp. Sesame oil
- 2 Tbsp. Ginger, chopped
- 2 x Cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 Tbsp. Orange rind, grated (optional)
- 1/4 c. Hoisin sauce
- 1 bn Green onion, minced Rice or possibly couscous, cooked

- Combine orange juice and cornstarch in small bowl and set aside. Saute/fry meat in large skillet over med-high heat till cooked through; break up with a fork. Drain off excesss juice and fat, and set aside. Add in sesame oil to skillet and stir-fry ginger, garlic and orange peel (optional) briefly.
- Add in green onion and stir-fry 1 minute. Return meat to skillet and add in hoisin; stir till blended. Add in orange juice mix and stir till thickened (about 1 minute). Spoon onto rice or possibly couscous; this can be flavored with chicken stock while cooking. Serve immediately.
