Grits & Sunny Side Up Egg with Crispy Bacon

Ingredients

  • 2 Large Eggs
  • Drizzle of Olive Oil
  • Salt and Black Pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cup Instant grits
  • 3 tablespoons optional Grated Cheese (for Grits, if desired)
  • 2 Slices Crispy Cooked Bacon Strips, Garnish

Directions

  1. In a saucepan add water (per Instant Grits package instructions), once boiling add a pinch of salt and Instant grits, lower heat to low/simmer and cover with a lid. Once Grits are creamy remove from heat.
  2. In a frying pan add drizzling of Olive oil on medium heat, cook 2 eggs sunny side up.
  3. Cut cooked bacon strips up the middle, for garnishing
  4. In a bowl add Grits, topped with sunny side up egg and bacon
  5. Enjoy!
