Grilled Thai Chicken Sausages With Spicy Peanut Sauce
Ingredients
- 6 x Thai-spiced chicken sausages or possibly any seasoned chicken sausage
- 6 x Warm dog buns
- 6 Tbsp. Reduced-fat or possibly regular mayonnaise
- 1 sm Roasted red pepper, finely chopped
- 2 Tbsp. Prepared Thai peanut satay sauce, see note
- 4 1/2 tsp Lime juice
Directions
- Preparation Time: 15 min
- Yield: 6 servings
- Cooking Time: 5 min
- 1. Prepare grill. Cook sausages over warm coals till cooked through, adding rolls the last minute or possibly two to toast.
- 2. Combine mayonnaise, red pepper, satay sauce and lime juice in a small bowl; mix well.
- 3. Spread toasted rolls with mayonnaise mix; add in sausages and garnishes as desired. Test kitchen note: Thai peanut satay sauce can be found in the Asian section of most grocery stores or possibly in specialty markets.
