Grilled Pound Cake with Peaches

Yes, the possibilities are endless – so why not grill a little dessert? This one of my favorite ways to serve up a store bought pound cake and our wonderful Carolina peaches. YUM! Ingredients
- 1 12 oz. loaf pound cake
- 8 peaches
- Cooking oil spray (unflavored)
- Whipped topping or ice cream
Directions
- Slice pound cake into 8 equal slices.
- Slice each peach into 8 equal slices and discard pits.
- Lightly spray with oil on side to be placed on grill.
- Heat grill on high for 10 minutes and make sure surface is clean.
- Lower heat to med-low and place food on grill.
- Grill for 5 minutes then spray tops of food before turning.
- Grill turned food for 5 more minutes.
- Serve each slice of cake with 1/8th of the fruit and a whipped topping or ice cream.
- Serves 8
