Grilled Pork Chops
- 4 x loin pork chops, 1 1/2" thick Juice from 1/2 lemon Salt to taste Freshly-grnd black pepper to taste Garlic salt to taste Extra virgin olive oil Bottled barbecue sauce not too thick, nor spicy nor sweet
- Place chops in glass dish, and squeeze lemon juice on both sides, then sprinkle both sides with seasonings. Cover and set aside to marinate for 1 hour at room temperature.
- Preheat grill on high. Brush chops lightly on both sides with oil and sear for 2 min with lid closed. Turn chops and brush with barbecue sauce. Close lid and cook another 2 min. Turn chops and brush with sauce, close lid and cook 6 min. Turn and cook another 6 min. They will turn a reddish-brown and be more hard when cooked.
