Add enough coals to a grill for medium-high heat. Season both sides of the cubed steak with Montreal steak seasoning and Worcestershire sauce. Set aside until grill is hot.

Place sliced onion, bell pepper and mushrooms into a 8 x 8-Inch aluminum pan; add butter. Cover with a piece of aluminum foil, leaving 1-Inch open space at corners to vent steam.

Once grill is ready, add pan with pepper mixture. Grill for 15 - 18 minutes or until crisp-tender.

Add seasoned cube steak, cook for 5 - 6 minutes, flipping half way threw. You're looking to sear both sides only (medium). If you overcook they will shrink and become chewy. If this happens, I suggest using another aluminum pan, add about 2 1/2 cups heated beef broth and steaks. Cover and simmer for 1 hour over medium-low coals (covering grill). Removing pepper mixture and set aside, adding to grill to reheat for 5 minutes.

Toast burger buns of choice over hot grill. Set out with burgers, pepper mixture and cheese. Serve with various condiments listed.

Try replacing the red bell pepper with Hungarian hot banana peppers for a kick, or mix and match with any pepper variety.
