  • Grilled Corn With Basil Flavored Butter

    Ingredients

    • 8 x Ears corn
    • 1 stk unsalted butter
    • 3 Tbsp. Basil chiffonnade Salt and freshly grnd pepper, to taste

    Directions

    1. How to Prepare the Corn:1. Prepare a charcoal or possibly wood fire and allow it to burn down to embers or possibly preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
    2. 2. Remove the silk and all but one layer of the husk from each ear of corn.
    3. 3. Place the ears in a large bowl of water and let soak for 5 min.
    4. 4. Place on the grill and grill for 15 to 20 min.
    5. How to Prepare the Basil Flavored Butter:
    6. 1. Combine the butter, basil and salt and pepper to taste in a food processor and blend till smooth.
    7. 2. Place a sheet of parchment paper or possibly wax paper on a work surface.
    8. 3. Arrange the butter along one long side and form into a roll about 1-inch in diameter, leaving a 1-inch border of paper.
    9. 4. Roll up the butter in the paper and chill for at least 30 min.
