Grilled Corn With Basil Flavored Butter
Ingredients
- 8 x Ears corn
- 1 stk unsalted butter
- 3 Tbsp. Basil chiffonnade Salt and freshly grnd pepper, to taste
Directions
- How to Prepare the Corn:1. Prepare a charcoal or possibly wood fire and allow it to burn down to embers or possibly preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- 2. Remove the silk and all but one layer of the husk from each ear of corn.
- 3. Place the ears in a large bowl of water and let soak for 5 min.
- 4. Place on the grill and grill for 15 to 20 min.
- How to Prepare the Basil Flavored Butter:
- 1. Combine the butter, basil and salt and pepper to taste in a food processor and blend till smooth.
- 2. Place a sheet of parchment paper or possibly wax paper on a work surface.
- 3. Arrange the butter along one long side and form into a roll about 1-inch in diameter, leaving a 1-inch border of paper.
- 4. Roll up the butter in the paper and chill for at least 30 min.
