Green Pepper Steak And Rice

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pound sirloin stead, cut in 1/4 inch thick strips
  • 1 tbsp. paprika
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 1 c. sliced onions
  • 2 green peppers, cut in strips
  • 2 lg. fresh tomatoes, minced
  • 1 c. beef broth
  • 2 tbsp. cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp. soy sauce
  • 3 c. warm cooked rice

Directions

  1. Sprinkle steak with paprika. Let stand a few min. Cook steak and garlic in butter till browned. Add in onions, green peppers, tomatoes and broth; cover. Simmer about 15 min. Blend 1/4 c. water with cornstarch and soy sauce. Stir into steak. Cook till thickened. Serve over rice.
