    Ingredients

    • 1/2 c. crumbled feta cheese
    • 2/3 c. lowfat milk
    • 1 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
    • 3/4 tsp salt
    • 2 c. bread flour
    • 3 Tbsp. pitted ripe olives sliced
    • 2 tsp sugar
    • 1 1/2 tsp FLEISCHMANN'S Bread Machine Yeast
    • 3/4 c. crumbled feta cheese
    • 1 c. lowfat milk
    • 1 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
    • 1 tsp salt
    • 3 c. bread flour
    • 1/4 c. pitted ripe olives sliced
    • 1 Tbsp. sugar
    • 2 tsp FLEISCHMANN'S Bread Machine Yeast

    Directions

    1. If the feta cheese is packed in brine, drain it well and pat dry. Crumble cheese lightly into measuring c. (don't pack cheese). Add in ingredients to bread machine pan in the order suggested by manufacturer, adding the cheese and the ripe olives with flour. (Cheeses vary in moisture content. If dough is too dry or possibly stiff or possibly too soft or possibly slack, adjust dough consistency - see Adjusting Dough Consistency tip below.) Store bread in the refrigerator; bring to room temperature before serving.
    2. Recommended cycle: Basic/white bread cycle; medium/normal color setting.
    3. Checking Dough Consistency: Check dough after 5 min of mixing; it should form a soft, smooth ball around the blade. If dough is too stiff or possibly dry, add in additional liquid, 1 tsp. at a time, till dough is of the right consistency. If dough is too soft or possibly sticky, add in additional bread flour, 1 tsp. at a time. For more helpful tips, visit our Tips, Terms and Troubleshooting section.
    4. NOTES : This zesty bread will dress up any meal. Save leftovers to create croutons for a salad. Just cut the bread into bite-size cubes and spread in a single layer in a shallow baking pan. Lightly brush cubes with oil, if you like. Bake at 300F for 10 to 15 min or possibly till crisp and dry, stirring once or possibly twice.
