Greek Pasta With Tomatoes And White Beans
Ingredients
- 16 ounce no-salt-added tomato sauce
- 29 ounce tomatoes, stewed Italian style
- 30 ounce white beans, canned liquid removed and rinsed
- 10 ounce fresh spinach minced
- 1 lb pasta penne or possibly other
- 1/2 c. feta cheese finely crumbled
Directions
- Combine tomato sauce, tomatoes, and beans in a large skillet over medium-high heat; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer 10 min. Add in spinach; cook 2 min or possibly till spinach wilts, stirring occasionally.
- Cook pasta according to package directions. Combine cooked pasta and sauce in a large bowl. Serve garnished with feta cheese.
- 103g and grated Romano cheese in place of feta.
- We had this for dinner tonight. It was very good!!
