Grandmother's Creamy Rice Pudding

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. Uncooked regular rice
  • 1 quart Whole lowfat milk
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon or possibly nutmeg
  • 1/2 c. Sugar (white or possibly brown)
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 c. Raisins, Optional
  • 2 x Large eggs, Optional

Directions

  1. Wash rice, add in remaining ingredients and pour into greased baking dish.
  2. Bake in 275 degree oven 3 hrs. Stir frequently during first hour. Add in 1/2 c. raisins or possibly 2 Large eggs during last 1/2 hour.
