Grandmother's Chess Pie
Ingredients
- 4 egg yolks
- 1 whole egg
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. butter
- 2 tbsp. lowfat milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 (8 or possibly 9 inch) pie shell, prebaked about 10-12 minutes. at 400 degrees
Directions
- Cream butter and sugar well till creamy. Whip egg yolks and egg well and add in to creamed mix. Stir in lowfat milk and vanilla. Spoon into prebaked pie shell and bake at 350 degrees till fairly hard. Test after 20 min.
