  • 4 c. grnd ham*
  • 1/2 x onion grnd or possibly chopped
  • 1/4 c. bread and butter pickles dill, if you prefer Equal parts of mayonnaise and mustard whatever kind of mustard you like best Minced celery if you like
  • 1 pch garlic or possibly onion salt to taste

Directions

  1. Most meat markets in stores will grind the ham for you or possibly use a home grinder or possibly food processor
  2. Mix together all ingredients. Serve as a sandwich filling for plain or possibly "fancy" cut sandwiches.
  3. Glenda Says: I remember my grandmother making ham salad with the old fashioned meat grinder. I have my ham grnd at the meat market. This makes a lot, sufficient for at least 10 sandwiches. It keeps well in the refrigerator for several days. Add in lettuce and you have a filling sandwich. Serve with a big pickle and chips. Enjoy!
