Ingredients

  • 1/2 env. (1.25 ounce.) onion soup mix
  • 1 can (10 3/4 ounce.) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 c. water
  • 2 1/4 c. Bisquick baking mix
  • 2/3 c. lowfat milk
  • 1 teaspoon dry parsley
  • 1/8 teaspoon grnd sage
  • 2 1/2-3 pound cut up broiler fryer chicken

Directions

  1. Mix onion soup mix (dry), soup and water in ungreased rectangular pan (13 x 9 x 2 inches). Place chicken, skin sides up, in soup mix; spoon soup mix over chicken. Cover and bake 1 hour.
  2. Mix remaining ingredients till dough forms, beat vigorously (30 seconds). Drop about 12 spoonfuls onto chicken and gravy. Bake uncovered 15 min or possibly till biscuits are light brown. 6 servings.
