Grandma Jackie Kennedy's Salad Dressing Cake

Ingredients

  • 2 c. sifted cake flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. cocoa
  • 2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 c. salad dressing (i.e. Hellmann's, but not mayonnaise)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions

  1. Combine dry ingredients then add in water and mix. Then add in salad dressing, vanilla and mix. Bake in 8x8 inch pan for 45 min to 1 hour in oven heated to 350 degrees.
