Ingredients

  • 6 egg whites
  • 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. Grand Mariner Liquor
  • 1 1/2 c. whipping cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • Grated zest of 3 oranges
  • Chocolate shavings (garnish)

Directions

  1. Beat egg whites and cream of tartar till frothy. Add in sugar gradually and beat till stiff but not dry. Place whipping cream in chilled bowl, add in vanilla and beat till stiff. Gently mix in zest and Grand Mariner. Gently mix in egg white mix and spoon into a glass bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and freeze overnight. Remove to room temperature for 10 min before serving.
