    Easy prep recipe for this pie crust, which I prefer making at home, because the pre-made ones always seem to fall apart or have other problems. This is enough for a 9" pie or 9x9 square baking dish.

    Ingredients

    • 1 1/4 cup graham cracker crumbs (use a food processor if making from whole graham crackers - about 2 cups hand crushed)
    • 3 tbs. sugar
    • 1/3 cup melted butter
    • 0r
    • 1 1/4 cups chocolate oreo cookies, filling removed

    Directions

    1. Turn on oven to 350 F.
    2. Mix crumbs and sugar together in the pan you're going to use.
    3. Pour on butter.
    4. If you are using nuts, chocolate chips, etc., add at this time.
    5. Mix ingredients together and spread on the bottom and sides, then press them into the bottom and sides.
    6. Bake exactly 8 minutes.
    7. Let cool before filling, unless baking a second time.
