Glazed Pork Ribs With Chilli Plum Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 kg pork ribs
- 1 Tbsp. oyster sauce
- 2 Tbsp. sherry, dry
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce salt, pepper
- 1/10 tsp Chinese 5 spice
- 2 tsp vegetable oil
- 2 tsp garlic, crushed
- 1 tsp ginger, crushed
- 170 ml plum sauce
- 1/3 c. water
- 2 tsp cornflour
- 2 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp chilli sauce
Directions
- Combine marinade ingredients in a large bowl, add in ribs and mix well to coat. Allow to marinate 30 min.
- *+ Chilli Plum Sauce:Heat oil in a sauce pan, add in garlic and ginger and cook gently 1 minute.
- Add in plum sauce and stir till combined.
- Dissolve cornflour in water and add in to pan with remaining ingredients.
- Stir till sauce boils and set aside.
- Coat each rib with plum sauce and place on a tray under a warm grill for 5 min. Turn and cook a furthur 5 min. Brush with plum sauce regularly to glaze.
- Arrange on plate and serve with remaining sauce.
