  • Ginisang Sardinas sa Kamatis

    Yummy and simply way to enjoy a nice sardine.

    Ingredients

    • 2 tbps. canola oil
    • 1 med onion, peeled and chopped
    • 1 clove onion, peeled and minced
    • 1 small cabbage, touch core removed, cut into 1 inch strips
    • 1/2 pack misua
    • 1 can sardines in tomato sauce (I used hot)
    • salt and pepper to taste
    • water

    Directions

    1. Heat oil in a wok.
    2. Sautee garlic until golden brown.
    3. Add onion, stirring often until softened, about 2 minutes.
    4. Add sardines, stir fry for a bit then add water.
    5. Cook until sauce thickens.
    6. Add salt and pepper according to taste.
    7. Add sliced cabbage. Stir often until cabbage is half-cooked.
    8. Add misua and let it boil for 1minute before removing from heat.
    9. Serve with white rice.
