Ginataang Tilapia (Tilapia with Coconut Milk)

- 1 kg of medium tilapia, fried
- 3 cloves of garlic, crushed then fried
- 1 pc of large onion, sliced
- 1 pc of medium ginger, cut into strips
- 5 pcs of ripe tomatoes, cut into cubes
- 1 pouch of tomato sauce (del monte)
- 3 cups of thick coconut milk (1st extraction)
- 2 pcs of medium bell peppers, cut into strips
- 300 grams of pechay (cut in half)
Directions
- Saute garlic, onion, ginger, and tomatoes. Add tilapia, tomato sauce, coconut milk, salt and pepper to taste, Simmer for 5 minutes. Add bell peppers and pechay. Simmer for another 3 minutes.
