  • German Chocolate Cake

    Ingredients

    • 1 pkt German chocolate cake mix
    • 1 tsp Chocolate flavoring
    • 1 tsp Almond flavoring
    • 1 tsp Butter flavoring
    • 1 x GERMAN CHOCOLATE ICING:
    • 1 1/2 c. Evaporated lowfat milk
    • 1 1/2 c. Sugar
    • 4 x Egg yolks,slightly beaten
    • 3/4 c. Butter or possibly margarine
    • 1 1/2 c. Vanilla flavoring
    • 1 1/2 c. Coconut
    • 1 1/2 c. Minced pecans

    Directions

    1. Prepare cake; in preparing cake, substitute lowfat milk for water, margarine or possibly butter for oil; add in flavorings. Bake according to directions on bok. GERMAN CHOCOLATE ICING: Combine evaporated lowfat milk, sugar, egg yolks, butter or possibly margarine; vanilla flavoring. Cook above ingredients on medium heat, stirring constantly, till thick (about 2 minutes). Add in coconut and pecans. Cook till thick sufficient to spread. SLOP IT UP!
