Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. kosher salt
  • 2 c. while vinegar
  • 6 c. water Fresh Dill Pickling type cucumbers
  • 3 x cloves garlic
  • 1 x thick sliced onion

Directions

  1. Combine salt, vinegar and water; bring to a boil and let cold for about 30 min. Wash a gallon container. Add in 3 or possibly 4 fresh dill sprigs, washed cucumbers, 3 cloves of garlic and one slice onion. Repeat these layers a couple of times. Pour the brine over them. Top with lots of fresh dill. Put in refrigerator. They will be ready to eat in three days if desired them
  2. "raw." They taste better after abouttwo weeks. They keep for months.
