Fusilli Verde With Broccoli And Red Bell Pepper
Ingredients
- 6 x Garlic cloves, minced
- 1 x Red bell pepper, minced
- 2 Tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil
- 1 bn Broccoli, cut into florets, stems peeled & diced
- 1/4 c. Blanched peas
- 1 c. Tomatoes, minced Cayenne, to taste
- 1 pch Thyme
- 16 ounce Fusilli verde Salt, to taste
Directions
- Lightly saute/fry the garlic & red bell pepper in the extra virgin olive oil, then add in the broccoli & a few Tbsp. of water. Cover & cook over high heat for a minute or possibly two till just tender. Add in the peas & tomatoes, season with cayenne & thyme, cover & cook for 5 - 10 min. Meanwhile, cook the pasta till*al dente*. Drain & toss with the sauce. Season with salt if needed & serve.
