  • Fudge- karo fast chocolate

    Ingredients

    • Chopped nuts (optional) 1 c
    • Chunky peanut butter 1/3 c
    • Confectioners sugar 3/4 c
    • Creamy peanut butter 1/3 c
    • Creamy peanut butter 1/3 c
    • Evaporated milk 1/3 c
    • Karo syrup (light or dark) 1/2 c
    • Semisweet chocolate chips 3 c
    • Vanilla 2 ts

    Directions

    1. Line 8 inch square baking pan with plastic wrap.
    2. In three quart microwavable bowl, combine corn syrup and evaporated
    3. milk; stir until well blended. Microwave on high for 3 minutes.
    4. Stir in chips until melted. Stir in the confectioners sugar, vanilla
    5. and nuts.
    6. With wooden spoon beat until thick and glossy. Spread in prepared
    7. pan.
    8. Refrigerate two hours or until firm.
    9. Variations: Marble Fudge - omit nuts. Prepare as above, spread into
    10. prepared pan. Drop 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter over fudge in small
    11. dollops. With small spatula, swirl fudge to marbleize. Refrigerate.
    12. Variations: Peanut Butter Chocolate - prepare as directed above
    13. adding 1/3 cup chunky peanut butter to batter. Spread in the
    14. prepared pan. Drop additional 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter over
    15. fudge in small dollops and with spatula, swirl fudge to marbelize.
    16. Refrigerate.
