Fruit Cocktail Cake And Glaze
Ingredients
- 2 large eggs, separated
- 1 (16 ounce) can fruit cocktail, undrained
- 1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 2 c. flour
- 2 teaspoon soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 stick butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 c. minced nuts
- 1/2 c. canned lowfat milk
Directions
- Beat egg whites till stiff. Put together dry ingredients, egg yolks and fruit cocktail. Beat well. Mix in egg whites. Bake at 350°F for 30-35 min in 9 x 12 inch greased pan.
- Put together all ingredients and bring to boil. Boil for 5 min, stirring regularly. Cut cake into squares and pour over hot cake.
