Fried Ham And Cheese Balls
Ingredients
- 2 c. fine, dry bread crumbs, divided
- 2 c. grnd cooked ham
- 1 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 4 large eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 sm. onion, finely minced
- 1/4 c. finely minced fresh parsley
- Vegetable oil
Directions
- Put together 1 1/2 cups bread crumbs with next 5 ingredients, mixing well; shape into 1 inch balls. Roll balls in remaining 1/2 cup bread crumbs. Refrigerate 30 min. Deep fry ham and cheese balls in hot oil (375 degrees) for 2 to 3 min or possibly till golden. Drain on paper towels. Serve immediately with prepared mustard or possibly sweet and sour sauce. Makes 4 dozen appetizer servings.
