Frico alla friulana
Grilled Cheese Friuli style. Ingredients
- 200g Mixture of semi-hard cheeses (Puroborone, Marivaux, Gouda, Cheddar)
- 100g boiled potatoes
- 1/4 Onion
- Butter
Directions
- Cut cheese into 5mm cubes.
- Slice onion.
- Boil potatoes in their skins with salt. Peel them and put in a bowl, mash with the back of a spoon.
- Add cheese into the potatoes.
- Saute the onion with butter until soft, then add potatoes and cheese, cook until crisp at high heat.
- Turn upside down and cook until crisp also.
