Ingredients

  • 9" pie shell, deep dish
  • filling -
  • 1 cup raspberries
  • 1 cup blackberries
  • 1 1/2 apples (honeycrisp; peeled, cored and chopped)
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 3/4 cup cream
  • streusel topping -
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/3 cup butter, cold and in small pieces
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Directions

  1. spread 1/2 of the raspberries and blackberries in unbaked pie shell
  2. place chopped apples on top of berries and top with remaining berries
  3. mix sugar and flour in bowl and beat in cream and vanilla until smooth
  4. pour evenly over fruit layers
  5. in separate bowl blend topping ingredients until a fine crumb is created
  6. spread crumb mixture loosely over pie filling
  7. bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes then reduce temperature to 375 for 30 - 35 minutes or until topping has browned and filling is bubbly
