French pear pie with caramel toping

- 4 pears
- 150 gr. flour
- 100 gr. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 100 ml. milk
- 3 spoon fulls of oil
- 1/2 baking powder
- pinch of salt
- products for the sauce:
- 80 gr. butter
- 3 spoon fulls of sugar
- 1 egg
- products for the caramel toping:
- 1/2 cup sugar
- lump of butter
- 1/4 cup sweet liquid cream
Directions
- Beat the eggs, together with the pinch of salt and add the sugar.
- Mix flour and baking powder together and add them to the egg mixture.
- Finally add the milk, together with the oil.
- Heat the oven to 170 degrees celcius.
- Wash and peal the pears.
- Slice them to pieces.
- Cut a baking paper for the bottom of the ring form.
- Butter the sides.
- Pour one half of the mixture on the bottom.
- Arrange the pear slices on top and pour the remaining mixture on it.
- Bake the cake for 30 minutes.
- Getting to the end of baking prepare your sauce.
- Melt the butter in a small saucepan on a very low heat.
- Add sugar and egg and stirr continuously until you receive a sauce.
- Take the cake out and make small holes on top of it with a stick.
- Pour the sauce on top.
- The butter sauce will go deep in the cake.
- Bake for another 20 minutes.
- Take the cake out and leave it to cool completely before transferring it to a serving plate.
- Prepare the caramel toping:
- Caramelize the sugar at low heat.
- Add the butter and stirr energetically.
- Finally add the cream and stirr well.
- Let the caramel toping cool completely before serving.
- Serve cake pieces poured over with the caramel toping.
