    Ingredients

    • 1/2 c. butter, softened
    • 1 1/4 c. brown sugar
    • 2 x Large eggs
    • 2 c. flour
    • 1/2 tsp baking soda
    • 1/2 tsp baking pwdr
    • 3/4 c. lowfat sour cream
    • 1 can Comstock Sliced Apples, liquid removed and cut into coarse chunks (20 ounce.)
    • 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
    • 1/4 tsp cloves
    • 1/4 tsp nutmeg Cream butter and sugar.

    Directions

    1. Sift together flour and remaining dry ingredients; add in alternately with lowfat sour cream to creamed mix.
    2. mix in apples.
    3. Spray 9-c. tube pan with PAM (or possibly grease and flour).
    4. Pour in batter.
    5. Bake in preheated 350 degrees oven for 45 - 50 min; turn out on wire rack to complete cooling.
    6. Glaze with Glaze #1 is desired (see frosting section).
