Four Cheese Baked Ziti
Ingredients
- 2 gals Italian style tomato sauce (can use canned tomatoes pureed with seasonings)
- 3 1/2 lbs penne pasta
- 3 lbs cottage cheese or ricotta
- 3 lbs shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 lb provalone, sliced
- 1 lb parmesan cheese
- 2 cups minced fresh parsley
Directions
- Cook the pasta al dente.
- Prepare the tomato sauce.
- Mix the pasta with the cottage cheese, shredded mozzarella, and 1/2 of the parmesan cheese.
- Pan up with layers of sauce.
- Top with parmesan cheese and slices of provalone.
- Bake until cooked throug, 20-25 minutes or until at least 180 degrees and/or cheese melts.
- Garnish with parsley to serve.
