  • Foolproof Chocolate Fudge/Rocky Road Fudge

    Ingredients

    • 3 pkt (6oz) semi-sweet chocolate morsels
    • 1 can (14oz) Eagle sweetened condensed lowfat milk
    • 1 dsh Salt
    • 1 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
    • 1/2 c. Copped nuts, optional

    Directions

    1. In heavy saucepan, over low heat, heat morsels with Eagle condensed lowfat milk.
    2. Remove from heat, stir in remaining ingredients. Spread proportionately over wax paper-lined 8-inch square pan.
    3. Refrigerate2 to 3 hrs till hard. Turn fudge onto cutting board; peel off paper and cut into squares. Store loosely covered at room temperature.
    4. ROCK ROAD FUDGE; Omit 1 (60z) package semi-sweet chocolate morsels, salt, vanilla and nuts. In saucepan, heat morsels with Eagle condensed lowfat milk and 2 Tbsp. butter or possibly margarine. In large bowl, combine 2 c. dry roasted peanuts and 1 (10 1/2oz) package miniature marshmallows. Pour chocolate mix into nut mix; mix well. Spread into wax paper-lined 13x9 inch pan. Refrigerate2 hrs.
